Ten people were killed and 24 others injured on the morning of Saturday, October 31, 2026, in a collision between a microbus carrying workers and a heavy truck (trailer) at the junction of the Middle Ring Road and the Dabaa Axis, within the jurisdiction of the 6th of October Second Police District in Giza Governorate.<\/p>\n
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, said the Ambulance Authority sent twenty ambulances to the scene and took the injured to October Central Hospital and Zayed Specialized Hospital, 10 of them in unstable condition and 14 with mild to moderate injuries, while the ten bodies were taken to the October Central Hospital morgue. He added that these figures<\/a> are preliminary and that counting and follow-up are ongoing.<\/p>\n A number of the victims were daily-wage workers from Sinnuris district in Fayoum Governorate. The Public Prosecution authorized the burial<\/a> of the bodies after legal and medical procedures were completed, and investigations are continuing to uncover the circumstances of the accident and determine responsibility.
