{"id":25533,"date":"2026-11-01T09:58:46","date_gmt":"2026-11-01T07:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zawia3.com\/?p=25533"},"modified":"2026-11-01T09:58:46","modified_gmt":"2026-11-01T07:58:46","slug":"museum-tickets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zawia3.com\/en\/museum-tickets\/","title":{"rendered":"The Grand Egyptian Museum raises the Egyptian visitor&#8217;s ticket price to 220 pounds on its first anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Grand Egyptian Museum began, on Sunday, November 1, 2026, applying new entry ticket prices <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cairomubasher.com\/247969\">approved<\/a> by the board of the museum&#8217;s authority, under which the price of the Egyptian visitor&#8217;s ticket rose from 200 pounds (about $3.56) to 220 pounds (about $3.92), and the ticket for Egyptian students, seniors and Egyptian children from 100 pounds (about $1.78) to 110 pounds (about $1.96), an increase of 10%.<\/p>\n<p>The increase also included ticket prices for Arab and foreign visitors, and coincided with the museum&#8217;s celebration of one year since its official opening on November 1, 2025, with a program of shows and concerts.
