The Official Gazette published two decisions by Interior Minister Major General Mahmoud Tawfik deporting three foreigners “for reasons related to the public interest”, the second of which appeared in Issue No. 241, dated Saturday 31 October 2026. The three foreigners are a Nigerian woman, a New Zealander of Saudi origin and a Syrian.<\/p>\n
Decision<\/a> No. 1662 of 2026, dated 23 September, orders the deportation of Mariam Adunni Balogun, a Nigerian national born on 22 January 1976. Decision<\/a> No. 1681 of 2026, dated 24 September, orders the deportation of Mustafa Almubarak, a New Zealand national of Saudi origin born on 7 April 1979, and Abdullah Mustafa Seddik, a Syrian national born on 21 January 1999.<\/p>\n Both decisions are based on Law No. 89 of 1960 on the entry, residence and departure of foreigners, and the minister tasked the director of the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality with implementing them.
