{"id":25974,"date":"2026-11-04T11:09:17","date_gmt":"2026-11-04T09:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zawia3.com\/?p=25974"},"modified":"2026-11-04T11:09:17","modified_gmt":"2026-11-04T09:09:17","slug":"chad-deportation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zawia3.com\/en\/chad-deportation\/","title":{"rendered":"Interior Minister Deports a Chadian National &#8220;for Matters Related to the Public Interest&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Al-Waqa&#8217;i&#8217; al-Misriya published, in its issue No. 244 of Tuesday 3 November 2026, Interior Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elwatannews.com\/news\/details\/8389573\">Decree<\/a> No. 1687 of 2026 deporting Chadian national MAHMAT GASSI SEFOULAYE, born on 1 January 1993, from the country &#8220;for matters related to the public interest.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The decree relied on Law No. 89 of 1960 on the entry and residence of foreigners and their departure, and its amendments, and on a memorandum from the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality dated 22 September 2026, and did not mention any facts or details about the reason for the deportation.<\/p>\n<p>The decree comes days after similar <a href=\"https:\/\/zawia3.com\/en\/foreigners-deported\/\">decrees<\/a> issued by Interior Minister Major General Mahmoud Tawfik and published in the Official Gazette, including Decree No. 1662 of 2026 deporting a Nigerian woman, Decree No. 1681 of 2026 deporting a New Zealand national of Saudi origin and a Syrian national, and Decree No. 1623 of 2026 deporting three Nigerians, including a child born in October 2017.
