For the first time since 2014, the calls go beyond amending some articles of the constitution to demanding its complete replacement, coinciding with the approaching end of the presidential term in 2030, the date after which Article 140 of the constitution prohibits the current president from continuing without a constitutional amendment or a new constitution that restarts the count of presidential terms from zero.
