Since February 2025, telecommunications networks in Egypt have been blocking the Zawia3 website. The blocking began on the Vodafone network on 15 February, then extended to other networks, and on the 19th of the same month we confirmed that it was a deliberate block, not a technical fault.
We will not leave our readers to the blocking, nor to the algorithms that decide what reaches them and what disappears. That is why we are building multiple ways to reach our journalism, not all of which pass through a single door that can be closed.

The Zawia3 app is now available on Google Play for Android devices. Through it, you can read our latest investigations, reports and analyses, and it is part of our plan to confront both the blocking and the algorithms.
