Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the gate separating the Palestinian and Egyptian sides at the Rafah crossing, which led to the suspension of work at the crossing.

The bombing of the crossing gate comes after the Israeli occupation announced today, Monday, the imposition of a total siege on the Gaza Strip, including the closure of all crossings and the cutting off of electricity, water, food and energy supplies to the Strip.

This comes as the war between the Israeli occupation and the Palestinian movement Hamas enters its third day, with the Israeli occupation’s retaliatory bombardment of the Gaza Strip continuing in response to the large and unprecedented attack launched by Hamas militants on towns inside the occupied Palestinian territories in the Gaza envelope.
