Zahran’s Campaign Criticises Pictures of “One of the Candidates” at Polling Stations
The official campaign of presidential candidate Farid Zahran said that its operations room is following the voting procedures of Egyptians abroad for the second consecutive day through delegates at polling stations in all countries of the world, and that the operations room has received a number of support videos from citizens backing Zahran.
The campaign added: “Yesterday, through its delegates in more than 25 countries, the operations room noticed an increase in turnout compared with Friday.”
The campaign criticised the fact that some voters were carrying pictures of “one of the candidates” in front of and inside polling stations. In response, the National Election Authority issued a statement explaining that it had investigated the matter and concluded that it was merely celebratory displays outside polling stations, without any bias by the administrative authorities towards a particular candidate.
Hazem Omar’s Campaign: We Have Not Observed Any Obstacles

Presidential candidate Hazem Omar’s campaign said that it had not received any complaints or observed any violations hindering the voting process.
The campaign is also continuing its preparations for its final conference for the Cairo, South and Central Delta region, scheduled to be held in the city of Benha next Wednesday, to discuss the most prominent problems facing citizens in the governorates of the Cairo, South and Central Delta region, and to present and discuss the solutions offered by the candidate’s electoral programme.
The conference will be attended by leaders and MPs of the Republican People’s Party, as well as some national figures and popular leaders from the governorates of the Cairo, South and Central Delta region.
Sisi’s Campaign Knocks on Doors before the Electoral Silence

The official campaign of presidential candidate Abdel Fattah al-Sisi published on its official page on Facebook a compilation video of a number of Egyptians abroad before the start of the electoral silence period set to coincide with the start of voting abroad.
It considered that Egyptians all over the world had turned out to take part in the great democratic wedding.
It announced the most important events and conferences organised by bodies supporting Sisi, affirming that these events are a continuation of the mass meetings and rallies and the various initiatives by parties held in a number of the republic’s governorates.
The campaign revealed that the Mostaqbal Watan Party organised 3 events, the most prominent of which was a mass rally in Fayoum governorate, and Sisi did not attend any of these events.
The Reform and Renaissance Party conducted a door-knocking campaign in the city of Helwan in Cairo governorate, with the aim of “raising citizens’ awareness” of support for presidential candidate Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the importance of positive participation in the election.
Yamama’s Campaign: Egyptians Abroad Wrote a Democratic Epic

Presidential candidate Abdel Sanad Yamama’s campaign is holding a mass rally, which it described as “huge”, next Wednesday in the village of Manyal Shiha, in Abu El-Nomros district in Giza governorate.
This event will be the last of the campaign’s events, and the campaign affirmed that it will respect the electoral silence.
Ragheb Mostafa, Yamama’s campaign director, praised Egyptians abroad, considering that they “wrote a democratic epic”. He also praised the neutrality of embassies and diplomatic missions and the conduct of the electoral process with neutrality and transparency.
Voting in the 2024 Egyptian presidential election began for Egyptians residing abroad.
Voting Ends in 121 Countries Today
Voting inside 137 embassies and consulates in 121 countries around the world ends today, 3 December 2023.
The presidential election law did not require a valid national ID card when a voter casts their vote in the elections for Egyptians abroad, but it required a valid passport.
Four candidates are running in the presidential race: candidate Abdel Fattah al-Sisi; Dr Abdel Sanad Yamama, head of the Wafd Party; Farid Zahran, head of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party; and Hazem Omar, head of the Republican People’s Party.
