A New Massacre in Jabalia Camp

The occupation forces this morning, Wednesday, bombed a residential area in Al-Falouja in Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip, causing an unknown number of casualties. This bombardment was near the place in the camp that the occupation forces bombed yesterday, killing and injuring about 400 Palestinians, most of them children.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that Israeli forces committed another massacre in Jabalia camp, one of the most densely populated places in the Strip, where houses are packed together.

Foreigners Leave Gaza through the Rafah Crossing

Nationals of a number of foreign countries and NGO workers began leaving the Gaza Strip for Egypt through the Rafah land crossing on Wednesday morning. 500 people holding US citizenship are expected to leave, as well as citizens of countries including Italy, France, Austria, Japan, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Australia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Jordan and other countries, in addition to members of the International Committee of the Red Cross and a number of NGO workers, which allowed about 81 wounded Palestinians to enter.

WHO Welcomes Egypt’s Acceptance of 81 Wounded from Gaza

For its part, the World Health Organization welcomed Egypt’s decision to accept 81 injured and sick people from the Gaza Strip for treatment.

The World Health Organization said: “Once patients enter Egypt, Arish hospital will be the main first referral hospital, with fully equipped resuscitation and intensive care facilities and a range of surgical teams to treat severe injuries, including trauma and major burns. There are also arrangements to refer patients from Arish hospital to other hospitals in Egypt.”

It added: “Thousands more inside the Gaza Strip still need access to urgent and essential health services amid shortages of medicines, health supplies and other aid, such as fuel, water and food.”

The Israeli occupation forces had bombed the Rafah crossing and its surroundings several times in response to an unprecedented attack by the Palestinian resistance on 7 October.
